As always, we almost ran to the gates (LOL!), even though I was walking with a slight limp from the two cameras I stashed.

I took Zakk on this trip as Dawn would never let him go before, due to the freaks, cursing, bare titties, drunken people, fights, Etc. This time I over-rode her decision because this may be Ozzy's last show. Also, Zakk needs to see the Man I named him after, Ozzy and the whole the show, and to see Ozzy for the first time live. Zakk loved it, I knew he would!

We went straight to the first band we could hear playing in the background, then passed out some stickers that Lisa (Piggy) and Glenn had made for Fanzmosis from the heart; thank you Almir, Lisa and Glenn.

We found a empty spot and set up a "Fanzmosis" stand with the of the "kick me in the head with a soccer ball guy" (heckler) next to us. He put a sticker on his tent front for us, thanks soccer guy! We sported the Brazil flag in the growing crowd to the fanz.

We then kind of walked side to side in the Large U shaped walkway, with stands of all types, from food to Ozzy swag.

After that, Dawn, Zakk and I went back to second stage to check the FYI tent to see Zakk Wylde's time, and got our 3 arm bands to meet and greet him $60 total, with a CD or DvD purchase. We watched the second stage until Zakk's arrival in a golf cart, (seeing Angels fall, Voivod, Etc.)

F##king Awesome Zakk is a very nice guy, they said no pictures but he gave in after we told him that the boy in front of him was named after him. We took pictures of Zakk and Zakk "SDMF" and with me, Dawn got a hug from him too and told him we named Zakk after him, Zakk B. was in shock, saying he would not wash his hand again after shaking with Zakk W. I said "you are the best thing to ever happen to Ozzy", and he spoke in a lower voice saying "yes". I then asked him about his pecktonuics, he said practice a lot LOL! As he signed our 3 items (we all love Zakk), I told him to tell Ozzy Jack said Hey he said "Ok". You never say what you plan to when you meet great people... Finally Zakk B. and I shook hands with him and departed to the food and water stand because we had waited in line for one hour and forty five minutes. We were full of great joy after touching Zakk and meeting him, as it's getting very hard to get signatures.

Now on to the rest...

We made the covered area at about 5:30-6:00, they will not allow people in before then, and watched Chevelle, Disturbed (who kicked A S S), Korn, (kicked A S S), Manson, (I loved the mic in the girls fake A S S and him singing "sweet dreams are made of these" into the mic while slapping the strippers butt, LMAO, you gotta Love Manson).

Then came my God, Ozzy Osbourne, THE only reason I went to Ozzfest. I only had one pit ticket as Dawn would not let me get pits for her or Zakk, therefore I bought 3 seats and 1 pit ticket (not using my extra seat ticket for Almir), as I needed a wrist band for pit entry. I stayed with Dawn and Zakk (front row sec 3 to the left side,((WoW)) until Ozzy came to the stage. The crowd was not as noisy as normal full full of tension, as Ozzy came out with no intro or movies, looking great as ever. I was in a trance because I have never been this close to Ozzy before, I watched/gazed like a kid in a candy store LOL. Ozzy Looked me in the eyes many times noticing my Fanzmosis hat and shirt, and Ozzy cross, he was less than 10' from me at first, I was to the left of center about 2', I moved inward to second row 6' away... "center". I threw my Fanzmosis hat softly like a frisby and it landed upright on his center monitor, a super throw! It stayed thru 3 songs before he sprayed it off with the water gun, I don't think he could have missed it, it was 2' in front of him. Zakk Wylde did a killer solo, Ozzy looked at me as I smiled like a f#cking wild billy goat all night at him and pointed at the Fanzmosis name on my shirt, he smiled back. I only hade him look at me one other time at 1999 Ozzfest, I was the only man standing on the 11th row I double peaced him and he returned it and the whole crowd returned it was very special moment to me! At this show he made eye contact with me Many times F U C K I N G awesome!!!! Ozzy said Sharon had just returned from the doctor 100% cancer free thank God. I flipped Tony a birdy (just kidding Tony, just picking on ya man). Ozzy had a few shakes and tremors but nothing serious, Zakk came over looking over him at one point, and placed his hand in the small of Ozzy's back, he had a slight stall, maybe the drummer Micheal B. missed a beat or Ozzy just missed the cue, Zakk looked to comfort him with the small hug as they both looked out at the crowd (pictured). Jason looked to be in a ill mood to me kind of, and I noticed funny a look in Ozzy's eye's at or near the end of the sets, kind of like, well I just don't know... sort of a goodbye look, almost like it was a little painfull, at times. like I said I'm not sure of the look he had, and the normal close of the show was not the same, no booms, confetti, or extra song they just said their goodbye and bowed. Everyone just stood there chanting "Ozzy" to no avail. Ozzy did say one more year and everyone repeted it in chant.

I left on the way home feeling sad like never before, like I lost a friend for some reason, and got a bit upset on the ride home, just thinking of never seeing Ozzy live in person again really F U C K S me up bad. I hope he never stops! I will always love OZZY until my death!

I did take some killer pictures, the best ever! My A.D.D keeps me from remembering set lists, and other things. This was one of the best drug and alcohol free "for me" shows I ever saw. Dawn caught a Korn drum stick and still will not let me hold it LMAO!

I never found the Fanzmosis hat that I tossed onto the stage monitor, But It was lost for a very good cause ......OZZY...... RULES!!!!
