Review - On Tour With Dio ex-Black Sabbath
Almir (BR)

August 28, Sao Paulo, Brazil , Credicard Hall

After a busy week and a lot of anticipation it is finally Saturday!

I got ready to travel to Sao Paulo, almost 100KM, and an incredible highway that partially crosses an ecological reservation of the Atlantic forest.

It was a rainy afternoon but to elevate my mood and spirit I listened to the Magic of Dio all through the drive, listening to rock and drinking Red Bull.
Finally I arrived at my brother’s house in SP and along with other friends we went to Credicard Hall.

Happily it stopped raining before the show, and since we were already at Credicard we decided to stop at a bar to drink some beer and wait with other friends. Dio in Credicard Hall, Sao Paulo, Brazil

The crowd of fans in line was incredible; I believe that almost 7000 people (sellout crowd) were there. We are all anxious and happy and drank more beer until the lights went out.

Dio and band entered the stage; the band was great; the performance of everyone was incredible. Dio sang songs that were true jewels of Rock, music from Rainbow, Black Sabbath and solo music. It seemed that he was really enjoying being in Sao Paulo again because the people there love him, and he reciprocated by sharing every moment of his happiness by singing more and more.

How could I define that night? Sincerely, it is difficult to define the magic moments in our life. I literally felt like I had traveled back in time and was 17 years old again.

Dio in Credicard Hall, Sao Paulo, Brazil The show was finishing and Dio and the band began to say goodbye to their fans, but then sang a classic, exciting the crowd. Dio then says goodbye and it seems that he hates to leave the stage but he does. The lights went out then he returned with the band speaking to the audience and taking everyone to a level of madness with a Black Sabbath classic. "NEON KNIGHTS"

I believe that people such as Dio, Plant and Ozzy are not of this world; they are truly shining stars.

When the show ended and they were leaving, a feeling of loss and sadness came over me.
