Ozzy cancels UK dates after breaking foot
Ozzy Osbourne has cancelled two UK tour dates after breaking his foot.
The former Black Sabbath frontman has postponed this week's Wembley Arena and Birmingham NEC shows.
He needs to undergo surgery and has rescheduled the concerts for October and November.
Osbourne's Wembley and Birmingham shows were to have been his first UK arena concerts for eight years.
His daughter Kelly had already pulled out of the shows last month due to ill health.
He said today: "I f***ed up my foot on Ozzfest and I need to get it fixed so I can be fighting fit when I come home to the UK."
He will now play The Point in
Dublin on October 22
Glasgow SECC (24)
Newcastle Arena (26)
Wembley Arena (29)
and Birmingham NEC (31 and November 1).

Ozzy's tour manager found dead in hotel room
Ozzy Osbourne's Scottish tour manager has been found dead in a Michigan hotel room.
Robert 'Bobby' Thomson, 50, appeared to have died during his sleep at the Townsend Hotel in a Detroit suburb, doctors said.
Thomson had battled throat cancer for 18 months. Born in Wallyford, Lothian, he lived in California and is survived by his wife Terri and two sons aged 19 and 10.
Osbourne and his entourage were in Michigan for the Ozzfest music festival.
"We are devastated by the loss of our dear friend Bobby," Osbourne said. "He has been a part of our family for 23 years and loved very much. He will by greatly missed by all of us.
"Our sincerest sympathies go out to the Thomson family."

Hero Ozzy saves pet from coyotes
Ozzy Osbourne's wife says he's a hero after he wrestled a coyote to save the family's favourite dog.
He tackled the predator when it got into the garden of their Beverly Hills mansion and attacked Pipi, Sharon Osbourne's beloved Pomeranian.
She told American magazine Us Weekly: "Ozzy heard the screams and fought and got Pip out of the coyote's mouth."
The dog made a full recovery following surgery.
But the former Black Sabbath frontman was unable to rescue the family's black chihuahua, Lulu, which was killed by coyotes.
"It's so heartbreaking," Sharon said, adding that they've now thrown a poisoned chicken over the garden fence in an attempt to kill the prairie wolves.

Ozzy now anti-drugs
Jack's overdose changes his mind
Ozzy Osbourne was so shocked after hearing how his 17-year-old son Jack tried to commit suicide during a drug-induced high,
he's changed his tune on drugs completely. Ozzy, MTV's most famous former alcoholic and drug taker, is taking up the anti-drugs
cause because Jack nearly died four times taking OxyContin, which Ozzy describes as 'hillbilly heroine'. 'I used to think they
should legalise pot, but you know what? They should ban the lot,' he said in a recent interview. 'When I found out the full depth of
him getting into OxyContin, I was shocked and stunned,' he said. 'The thing that's amazing was how rapidly he went from smoking
pot to doing hillbilly heroin.' He added: 'I'm 55 years old, and I didn't get off scot-free. I have to take medication for the rest of my
life because I've done so much neurological damage to my body.'
Sharon and Ozzy have blamed the state of their children's health on being exposed to the media and public on their reality TV show,
The Osbournes. Strange news, then, that they have agreed to a third helping of the MTV series despite Sharon's endless
protestations they would never make another episode. Sharon issued a statement confirming the news yesterday: 'How lucky am
I to have MTV with us for another year filming home movies of my family - and pay us for it?' The latter part of the sentence holding a
big clue.

OZZY OSBOURNE Comes Down With 'Severe Laryngitis', KORN To Headline Tonight's OZZFEST - July 9, 2003
OZZY OSBOURNE has been forced to withdraw from tonight's (July 9) headlining appearance at Ozzfest 2003 after coming
down with a case of "severe laryngitis."
The official statement on the cancellation is as follows:
"After struggling through the last 1/2 hour of his two-hour performance in San Francisco last night [July 8],
Ozzy Osbourne was examined by his personal physician and was diagnosed with having severe laryngitis.
Ozzy's doctor has ordered him to rest his vocal cords for the next few days. This will force Ozzy to sit out his headlining
performance at Ozzfest this evening in Marysville, California. However, the show is still going ahead as planned with KORN,
MARILYN MANSON, DISTURBED and CHEVELLE performing on the main stage.
Ozzy's doctor feels positive that his condition will improve with a few days rest, and Ozzy is looking forward to re-joining
Ozzfest at its next stop in Seattle, Washington on Saturday, July 12."

MTV signs up the Osbournes for a new series
MTV has signed up Ozzy Osbourne and his family for a fourth series of their fly-on-the-wall family reality show.
Sharon Osbourne and MTV had hinted that the third series, currently airing in America, would probably be the last.
The new undisclosed deal is to film another 20 episodes.
MTV president Van Toffler, said: "If you thought we wouldn't re-sign the Osbournes for another season, you're crazy.
"The Osbournes is a bona fide hit on MTV, and we will continue to work with the family to give our audience more of the rock star family drama they crave."
The Osbournes became America's highest rated cable series when it began airing last year.

Osbourne's family are to appear in London’s MADAME TUSSAUD’S MUSEUM
The Osbourne family "Ozzy, Sharon, Jack and Kelly" are to appear in London's Madame Tussaud's Museum, according to the Irish Examiner.
But like everything else with that unusual family, there is a twist.
The Osbourne wax dummies will speak, exactly like their real life counterparts, so expect a lot of bleeped out words.
In other news, Aimee Osbourne, who chose not to be a part of the MTV reality show that made the rest of her family famous, will make her MTV debut not on "The Osbournes",
but in the cable network's adaptation of "Wutheringm Heights". The movie, which also features Erika Christensen, Katherine Heigl and Christopher Masterson, is scheduled for later this year.

Vasectomy proves child is not mine, says Ozzy
Ozzy Osbourne has dismissed claims he fathered a love child six years ago by revealing he underwent a vasectomy in 1985.
A fan of the Prince of Darkness alleges she had a son by him following a fling at a party in 1996.
But Osbourne said he had the operation following the birth of his youngest child, Jack, in 1985 and could not possibly be the father.
"Ozzy, who had a vasectomy 17 years ago, has no idea who this woman is and has no intention of making any payment," a spokeswoman for the star told the New York Daily News.
Osbourne said: "The most precious thing I have in my life is my marriage and my children and now someone's trying to destroy the harmony in my family."
The rocker has three children with wife Sharon, and two children from his first marriage. He also has two adopted children.

Brummie Prince of Darkness, Ozzy Osbourne, has agreed to take a DNA test to see if he is the
father of a groupie's son. Gothic dominatrix Sheron Lutz claims she and Ozzy enjoyed a romp
after a party in 1996 - something which Ozzy, unsurprisingly, cannot remember.
'The most precious thing I have in my life is my marriage and my children and now someone's
trying to destroy the harmony in my family,'
mumbled the bat-muncher, patriarch of the most harmonious family on the planet.
'This is not going to happen.' Something else that's not going to happen, according to Ozzy,
is that he's likely to prove the father of six-year-old Junior, having taken the wise
precaution of having the snip in 1985 following the birth of son Jack.
'What Sharon's trying to do now is get on to the doctors who performed Ozzy's vasectomy,
because they store records,' said brother-in-law David Arden.
'We've heard stories before of vasectomies not working but I can't see it. It's a joke.
It's ludicrous.' Little Ozzy is said by his mother to require costly speech development
classes to cure the black-haired, Satan-obsessed child of a pronounced speech impediment
and stammer which make him extremely difficult to understand. Sound familiar?
